Universal Orlando Resort has announced the return of Volcano Bay Nights, a limited-capacity, after-hours event at its Volcano Bay water theme park. The event will be held each Friday from September 5 through October 31, 2025, and features access to select attractions, food and beverage offerings, and live entertainment.
Admission allows early entry beginning at 4:00 p.m., with exclusive event programming scheduled from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Tickets are priced at $105.44 plus tax per person and include standard self-parking. Annual and seasonal passholders are eligible for a 10% discount when presenting valid identification and their pass.

The event gives guests access to some of Volcano Bay’s most well-known water attractions with reduced wait times. Among the rides available are Ko’okiri Body Plunge, a 125-foot drop slide; Krakatau Aqua Coaster, which sends riders through the park’s central volcano; and TeAwa the Fearless River, a fast-moving river attraction with life jacket requirements. These rides are among the most attended during daytime operations, and the reduced crowd size is expected to result in shorter wait times.
In addition to water attractions, the event includes entertainment and character appearances. Waturi Beach will host a DJ-led “beach bash” throughout the evening, with music and lighting effects.
Guests can also meet Scooby-Doo and other characters from the long-running animated franchise. Characters scheduled to appear include Scooby-Doo, Shaggy, Velma, Fred, and Daphne. Villains from the series, such as the Ghost Clown, will also be part of photo opportunities. The Mystery Machine van will be on display as part of the themed experience.
Food and Drinks
Several complimentary food and drink options are included with admission. Guests will receive churro bites served with chocolate or mango dipping sauces, as well as pineapple and coconut flavored popcorn. Each attendee also receives a Volcano Bay-branded Coca-Cola Freestyle souvenir cup, which can be used for unlimited refills throughout the event. Over 100 beverage choices are available through the Freestyle system.

While select items are complimentary, the park’s regular dining locations will also remain open. These include Kohola Reef Restaurant & Social Club, Dancing Dragons Boat Bar, Koka Poroka Ice Cream Kona, Whakawaiwai Eats, Kunuku Boat Bar, and The Feasting Frog. These venues offer a range of items, including salads, tropical-inspired meals, non-alcoholic drinks, and alcoholic beverages.
Getting Your Ticket
Capacity for each event date is limited, and tickets must be purchased separately from daytime admission to Volcano Bay or Universal’s other parks. Reservations are available online and through official Universal Orlando ticketing partners. Event availability may vary by date depending on attendance demand and weather conditions.
