Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World has introduced a brand new Christmas exhibit for 2025. Located in the “Walt Disney Presents” building (a small, walk through museum) is the new “Disney Takes A Holiday” display, showcasing costumes and props from a few classic Disney Christmas movies, and the inclusion of one made for Disney + film.

Located in Hollywood Studios just before turning the corner for the entrance to “Toy Story Land” is Walt Disney Presents.

This walk through attraction showcases historical items such as Walt Disney’s childhood school desk, the historical Disneyland mock up, and the internal workings of a President Abraham Lincoln animatronic, to name a few.
A small movie theater sits at the end of the venue. Before the entrance to the theater is the new “Disney Takes A Holiday” display. A photo opportunity welcomes guest to the area, allowing guests to take their picture in a “Disneyesque” cartoon living room decked out for Christmas. After that, several windows show off props and costumes from several Disney holiday films.
A Mostly Christmas Classic Films Display
The first of the windows gives us a showcase from the now Disney classic The Santa Clause franchise starring Tim Allen. Santa’s red silk pajamas, Mrs. Claus’s coat, elf Bernard’s costume, and even Judy’s (the little girl elf who made the famous hot cocoa) costume are all there. Snow globes and Comet’s (the reindeer) name tag are among props in the display, along with a few set photos.

The 1961 Disney’s Babes In Toyland starring Annette Funicello themes the next cabinet. Curios included are set miniatures, a board game, a vinyl record, and several photos.
Disney resurrected the Muppets in Hollywood Studios for a showcase of The Muppet Christmas Carol. Shown prominently are Gonzo’s “Charles Dickens” costume alongside a photo of the character on set, Rizzo the Rat’s costume, and a photo of Kermit the Frog as Bob Cratchit. A few other costumes and props adorn the display as well.

Last but not least is the Disney + promoting “Noelle” display. Noelle, starring Anna Kendrick was released for the holiday season during the initial launch of Disney + in 2019. Earning a splat with only a 56% critic rating on Rotten Tomatoes, it’s a bit of an odd inclusion among the otherwise holiday classics showcase. In this window are a few costumes and set props from the film.
The Santa Meet and Greet
Displayed on the outside marquee as “Meet Friends For The Holidays”, Walt Disney Presents has replaced the “live action” Ariel (The Little Mermaid) meet and greet with Santa Claus for the holidays.

Santa Claus had to be moved from last season’s location, which was in the now permanently closed Muppets Courtyard. If you’re headed to Hollywood Studios with little ones who want to give Santa their “wish list,” head to Walt Disney Presents for this meet up opportunity.
Holiday Short Film Fest
In the theater at the end of the venue three short films currently play for the 2025 holiday season. “Walt Disney’s On Ice” with Mickey & Minnie, “Pluto’s Christmas Tree”, and “The Art of Skiing” with Goofy can all be viewed here. It’s also a decent sized, air conditioned space to take a relaxing break during your busy park day.

Walt Disney Presents is a quiet respite away from crowds and construction walls, and a pleasant place to take the littles to meet Santa, check out the holiday shorts, or peruse costumes and props from Disney’s past Christmas films. The space also highlights unique exhibits from past Disney, as well as what’s upcoming at the parks. This Christmas display at Walt Disney Presents will stick around through the end of 2025.
