Walt Disney World announced a new offer that lowers the required down payment for Florida residents who wish to purchase an Annual Pass. Under this promotion, eligible residents can begin any of the four Annual Pass options with a $99 down payment, about half of the typical amount previously required under the Florida Resident Monthly Payment Program.

The offer applies to all four Annual Pass types: Disney Pixie Dust Pass, Disney Pirate Pass, Disney Sorcerer Pass, and the Disney Incredi-Pass. After the $99 initial payment, purchasers enter a 12-month installment plan with 0% annual percentage rate (APR). Monthly payments are determined by the remaining balance after the down payment.

Payment Plan Details

Monthly payments vary by pass type. For the Pixie Dust Pass, monthly payments under the promotion are about $35.15, bringing its total cost to approximately $489 over 12 months. For the Pirate Pass, monthly payments are about $68.88 with a total cost of around $869. The Sorcerer Pass carries monthly payments of about $89.29 and totals roughly $1,099, and the Incredi-Pass requires about $136.33 per month, totaling approximately $1,629.

The total amount paid under the monthly plan remains unchanged from the standard pricing. Only the upfront portion has been reduced. The down payment reduction does not lower the overall cost of the Annual Pass.

To use the monthly payment plan, purchasers must be Florida residents aged 18 or older and provide valid identification as proof of residency. The first monthly payment is charged on or shortly after the date of purchase, and subsequent payments are automatically processed each month under an installment agreement.

Passholder Perks

Annual Passholders can enter Walt Disney World’s four theme parks: Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Each pass tier includes different blockout dates and reservation rules.

All Annual Passes include standard theme park parking. Passholders may also receive discounts on select dining and merchandise. Walt Disney World offers these benefits as part of its Annual Passholder program. The specific benefits depend on the pass level.

The promotion changes when payments occur rather than reducing the total price. The Florida Resident Monthly Payment Program previously required a higher down payment. The new offer lowers that upfront cost. Monthly payments increase to cover the remaining balance.

Walt Disney World has not stated how long the reduced down payment offer will last. Similar offers in the past have run for limited periods. The company may change or end the promotion at any time.

Florida residents considering the offer should review the payment terms. They may also compare the plan with paying the full cost at purchase. Paying in full remains an option but requires a larger initial payment.
