Introducing the That Park Place Guest Writer Program! We’re happy to announce that a new feature is coming for VIPro Level Members of WDW Pro’s Upcoming YouTube Channel Member Program.

Have you ever wanted to get your ideas out onto this great big beautiful web? Have you ever thought that something isn’t being covered in the way that it should be? Well, it’s time to fix that.

Memberships for the WDW Pro YouTube Channel are starting up and one of the rewards for the highest-level is an incredible opportunity we haven’t seen anywhere else. We’re offering the opportunity to VIPro level members to submit their own potential articles for the chance to see publication and be connected to a Google News Certified website where your ideas can take off!

If this is something that interests you, make sure to check out the following guidelines… and look for memberships to open soon on the WDW Pro Channel!

That Park Place Guest Writer Program

The WDW Pro Channel has partnered with That Park Place to allow VIPro Members to submit articles for publication up to once-per-week. All submissions should be sent to the email address provided in the Members-Only section of the WDW Pro Channel as part of your membership. As a part of this program, VIPro Members who submit an article have a chance to see their work published as an article which is connected and/or searchable by Google, Bing, DuckDuckGo, Google News and more! However, not all submissions will be published. Here are some tips to help receive publication:

  • No submission featuring words understood to be profanity, slurs, personal attacks, calls for violence, or graphically violent / sexual language will be considered for publication.
  • Submissions should not be political in nature or take any political position.
  • Submissions should not promote any particular religion, ideology, dogma or other issue of deep spiritual significance.
  • Submissions MUST NOT exceed 2,000 words. Submissions MUST have a minimum 300 words.
  • Submissions must be in English and of a caliber which easily understood by native speakers.
  • No submission which markets or advertises a product or service will be published.
  • All submissions must be based on a subject related to pop culture, entertainment, leisure, travel, Disney, Universal Studios, Dollywood, theme parks, and / or gaming.
  • No submission may personally attack or criticize a non-public person, nor may it be used to promote any social media or private personal account, business, or other non-entertainment related endeavor.

All VIPro Member submissions for the Guest Writer Program are subject to proofreading, editing, formatting and any other changes deemed necessary by That Park Place editors. Videos and photos are not permitted as part of the submission. Appropriate videos and photos will be selected by That Park Place editors. Any article which is deemed harmful or detrimental in any way to That Park Place will, of course, not be published.

That Park Place reserves the right to edit, modify, change, alter, delete, copy, or use in any way the submissions of VIPro Members for the Guest Writer Program. That Park Place reserves the right to publish any submitted material at any time, anywhere on the site, remove material later, and/or never publish said material. There is no monetary compensation or expectation of monetary compensation for the VIPro Member submitting their work (compensation from That Park Place, WDW Pro or any affiliated That Park Place Partner to any Guest Writer Program member is strictly prohibited).

Should such time arrive that a guest writer is ever asked to become an official writer for That Park Place, this will remove that individual from the Guest Writer Program and waive all conditions laid out in these guidelines in favor of whatever individual conditions and/or agreement is made between That Park Place ownership and a former Guest Writer Program member turned official contributor to the site. Such an agreement and official change in status will be CLEARLY indicated in writing from That Park Place. That Park Place makes no offer to compensate guest writers and explicitly maintains that work submitted by VIPro Members is of their own voluntary volition. No expectation is intended or provided that any guest writer will become an official writer for the site. Though it may occur, it is at the full discretion and determination of That Park Place administration.

That Park Place and WDW Pro reserve the right to alter, modify, change, delete, add to, or rearrange the guidelines, terms, stipulations and / or content of this post at any time.

That’s a lot of explaining, but it’s necessary to keep all of us well-understood and having fun. The bottom line is that, if you want to get your ideas out there… the time is coming. We’re looking forward to it and can’t wait to open the floodgates to citizen journalism in entertainment. We’re not sure this has ever been tried before, so let’s see what happens. It should be a fun ride.
