Everyone loves a good urban explorer or videos from behind the scenes of places unseen. But what about sneaking around video games?

In an ongoing series where we highlight some of our favorite entertainment YouTube channels, we’re taking a look at Shesez and the fantastic Boundary Break series. In this unique channel, the focus is on taking the camera outside of the normal places you’re supposed to see inside video games so that the viewer can find all sorts of hidden items and easter eggs. Although some games are not so amazing when you look behind the curtains, other games have all sorts of oddities just waiting to be explored.

Some info on the channel:

Boundary Break is a YouTube series hosted by Derek, better known as Internet personality Shesez. In the series, Shesez explores locations normally unaccessible in video games by using unofficial virtual camera mods. The series started on April 27, 2016, with an episode exploring Super Smash Bros. Brawl. During its run, the show has made multiple notable discoveries in its covered games, including Animal Crossing: New HorizonsStar Wars Jedi: Fallen OrderP.T.Shovel KnightGrand Theft Auto VUntitled Goose GameThe Simpsons: Hit & Run, and Mario Kart 8.

Here are some of my favorite videos from the Boundary Break series:

Ocarina of Time

Diddy Kong Racing

TMNT Shredder’s Revenge

Final Fantasy 7 Remake

The channel was started in 2013 and has seen phenomenal growth. Shesez is nearly at the million-mark when it comes to subscribers. Maybe this article has been an opportunity for you to discover a new creator and now you can help push him over that major milestone!
