In a strongly worded Truth Social post Saturday, President Trump advised Netflix to fire board member Susan Rice. Attached to his post was a screenshot from Laura Loomer’s X account, where the conservative commentator responded to comments Rice had made on the Stay Tuned with Preet podcast.

“Netflix should fire racist, Trump Deranged Susan Rice, IMMEDIATELY, or pay the consequences,” Trump wrote. “She’s got no talent or skills – Purely a political hack! HER POWER IS GONE, AND WILL NEVER BE BACK. How much is she being paid, and for what?”

Trump did not specify what “consequences” he was referencing—legal action, regulatory scrutiny, or reputational damage. The comment comes as Netflix seeks regulatory approval for its proposed acquisition of Warner Bros., a process that could involve federal scrutiny.

The episode underscores the growing overlap between politics and entertainment in the streaming era.

Politics Enters the Boardroom

Rice served as the U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations and National Security Advisor under President Obama. She is currently serving on the Netflix Board of Directors for the second time, after stepping down in 2020 to serve in the Biden-Harris administration.

In her podcast interview with Preet Bharara, Rice said that “it’s not going to end well for” any law firms, universities, or media corporations—what she called “the elites”—that decided it was in their own self-interest to “take a knee to Trump.” She added, “I think they are now starting to realize, ‘Wait a minute, this is not popular. Trump is not popular.’”

She continued, “If these corporations think that Democrats, when they come back in power, are going to play by the old rules, and say, ‘Never mind, we will forgive you for all the people you fired and all the policies and principles you violated, all the laws you skirted,’ I think they got another thing coming.”

Laura Loomer Weighs In

In her post on X, Loomer asked if Netflix supported one of its board members “threatening half of the country with weaponized government and political retribution.” She went on to note Barack and Michelle Obama’s relationship with Netflix through their production company Higher Ground. She argued that a Netflix-Warner Bros. merger could give the Democratic Party a monopolistic platform against Trump.

She called on Trump and FCC Chairman Brenden Carr to stop the proposed merger.

Trump has not publicly indicated whether Rice’s role on the Netflix board would influence his opinion of the Warner Bros. deal. However, by amplifying Loomer’s post saying that Netflix would “pay the consequences” unless they fire Rice, Trump may be fueling speculation.

Rhetoric or Strategy

Last December, Trump said that he would be involved in the decision-making process regarding Netflix’s proposed acquisition of Warner Bros. He also signaled that it would face significant antitrust scrutiny and concluded: “There could be a problem.”

So far, neither Rice nor Netflix have responded to the president’s call to have the former ambassador removed from the Netflix board. While Trump did not outline specific actions, the timing and regulatory context leave open the question of whether the statement was rhetorical or strategic.

Whether Trump’s post was a warning, a negotiating tactic, or simply a provocation, it underscores a broader reality: the boundaries between political influence and private enterprise are increasingly porous.

The problem is crystal clear. Netflix has become a political organisation. Ditto everywhere in the West, the Media / Entertainment are 1) Far-left propagandists, 2) NWO luantics, and 3) Perverts Epstein Islanders. BBC is another example of this.
