Carb-cutters beware: Doctor Doom is coming for the Marvel universe, but first, he plans to wreck your diet.
Images of Cinemark merchandise for Avengers: Doomsday reveal a popcorn bucket shaped like the villain’s masked head, alongside a collectible drink cup. Together, they offer moviegoers a chance to bring home Doom without inviting him to take over the living room.
The designs put the film’s antagonist front and center, leaving Marvel’s heroes with supporting roles in this particular merchandise lineup.
For collectors, the question is whether Doom deserves a place on the shelf. For hungry moviegoers, there is a more immediate concern: how does his head open?
Doom Gets His Own Popcorn Bucket
The Culture Crave account on X shared images of the Cinemark collectibles on October 6, attributing them to the theater chain.

The bucket features Doom’s metal mask beneath his familiar green hood, with eyes that appear to glow green. However, the promotional image does not clearly reveal a lid, hinge, or other opening for reaching the popcorn.
The accompanying cup depicts Doom seated on his throne. Stone-style detailing surrounds him, with green accents visible between the jagged pieces behind his seat. Avengers and Fantastic Four logos also appear on the design.

One collectible turns the villain into a snack container; the other gives him a miniature throne beside your drink. Apparently, threatening the multiverse still leaves time to supervise refreshments.
Still, images alone cannot answer the practical questions. Buyers will want to know how easily the bucket opens, whether it is comfortable to carry, and how much room both pieces require. Hungry fans may also wonder whether to order a separate tub of popcorn and leave Doom on display.
The October 7 report did not provide prices or a merchandise release date. It also noted that the items were not yet available through Cinemark’s website, leaving collectors waiting for details before planning their purchases.

The film hits theaters December 18, 2026, with Anthony and Joe Russo directing. Its synopsis describes heroes from three separate universes confronting a threat unlike anything they have previously faced.
The ensemble includes Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Mackie, Florence Pugh, Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, and Alan Cumming. Despite that considerable star power, the concession merchandise reserves its most prominent placement for the character threatening them.
Will Doom Conquer the Box Office—or Linger at the Concession Stand?
Questions about the production remain, however. Some cast members have acknowledged that they do not fully understand the plot. The directors have also said filming began without a finished script, while unconfirmed rumors suggest difficulties shaping the movie in the editing room.

None of that guarantees failure. Still, an elaborate collectible needs customers willing to take it home. Doom may threaten entire universes, but even he could face an extended stay at the concession stand if audiences lose interest.
Downey’s return and a cast packed with familiar faces give Marvel plenty to promote. Whether those attractions translate into satisfied audiences will depend on the movie itself. A striking popcorn bucket can complement a memorable night at the theater, but it cannot turn a disappointing film into a satisfying comeback.
Marvel’s heroes will have to handle Doom onscreen. Moviegoers may simply have to find somewhere to put his head once the popcorn is gone.
