Disney Cruise Line has pulled back the curtain on the Disney Believe. The fourth ship in the Wish class will sail its maiden voyage on Dec. 18, 2027, from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and it will carry the world’s first stage adaptation of Encanto, a brand-new Frozen family restaurant and a two-story suite modeled after the Magic Kingdom.
Disney laid out the details during its Oct. 7, 2026, reveal livestream and in an announcement from The Walt Disney Company.
The Believe will run four- and five-night sailings to The Bahamas and the Caribbean, stopping at one or both of Disney’s island destinations, Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point. It joins sister ships Disney Wish, Disney Treasure and Disney Destiny, as part of a fleet Disney says will reach 13 ships in late 2030.
A Moana Grand Hall at the Heart of the Ship
Disney says the ship’s motif is promise and possibility, told through characters who believed in something bigger than themselves.
The Moana-themed Grand Hall was already known, but now it has detail. A statue of Moana with Pua and Heihei anchors the space, surrounded by ocean-hued carpet, a ceiling scattered with constellations and railings inspired by the designs on Moana’s skirt, according to the Disney Parks Blog. The chandelier is modeled on the ocean’s movement and hides the heart of Te Fiti inside.

Outside, Tinker Bell will ride on the bow, and larger-than-life sculptures of Woody and Buzz Lightyear will stand at the stern.
Encanto Leads a New Stage Lineup
“Disney Encanto” will debut exclusively on the Believe in the Walt Disney Theatre. The show follows Mirabel on her quest to save her family and their magical home, with Colombian-inspired costuming and Lin-Manuel Miranda’s songs, including “We Don’t Talk About Bruno.” It shares the stage with “Tangled: The Musical,” a hit from the Disney Magic that gets a reimagined set and special effects exclusive to the new ship, and “Disney Seas the Adventure,” the original Wish class show.
Gazelle, a Zootopia-inspired entertainment hub, hosts family fun by day and adult-exclusive entertainment at night. For the first time on Disney Cruise Line, Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde will star in a family show that asks guests to help crack their latest case. Pirate’s Rockin’ Parlay Party, with fireworks at sea, and the AquaMouse water ride also return.
A New Frozen Restaurant and Two New Cafes
The new dinner venue is Oaken’s Table: A Frozen Family Feast. Set in a Scandinavian summer house courtyard deep in the forest, it casts Oaken and his family as hosts, with his cousins playing reimagined versions of Frozen songs and Anna and Kristoff stopping by. It joins two returning Wish class restaurants, 1923 and Worlds of Marvel.

Two cafes are new: Big Hero Sips, themed to San Fransokyo from Big Hero 6, and Café Kakamora, named for the coconut pirates in Moana. Inside Out: Joyful Sweets returns with sculptures from Inside Out 2, including Anxiety, Envy and the “Sense of Self” structure, and nearly 20 gelato and ice cream flavors.
Lounges for Grown-Up Dreamers
Adults get three new lounges. Wishing Well, themed to Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, pairs a gothic castle bar with stained glass, a courtyard under white blossoms and red apples, and a stage framed in hand-carved wood that nods to the dwarfs’ cottage. Sea Notes, just off the Grand Hall, is a piano lounge inspired by Ariel’s grotto and built around a pearlescent piano.
Skygazers is an observatory-themed pub with celestial maps, nods to Disney characters who wished upon stars, craft brews and live sports. The Haunted Mansion Parlor also returns, with an all-new drink menu developed for the Believe.
The Believe Tower Suite Brings Magic Kingdom to Sea
The showpiece is the Believe Tower Suite, exclusive to this ship. Tucked into the forward funnel, the nearly 2,000-square-foot, two-story suite sleeps eight, with two main bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms. Each room is modeled on a different Magic Kingdom land, and the living room features fireworks- and balloon-inspired light fixtures and an art piece depicting Cinderella Castle.

The royal suites come in two themes: the Royal Reef Suites, inspired by The Little Mermaid, and the Royal Rose Suites, inspired by Beauty and the Beast. Disney’s announcement counts four royal suites in all. Concierge rooms carry Peter Pan theming, and seven special oceanview rooms are dressed in Toy Story. Standard staterooms get new papercut-style artwork from films including Moana and Coco. Disney says 70% of staterooms will have a verandah, and the ship will have more than 450 connecting doors for larger families.
When Booking Opens
General booking opens Oct. 19, 2026, according to Disney. Its announcement did not list the early windows, but WDWMagic reported a staggered schedule ahead of that date: Pearl Castaway Club members on Oct. 12, Platinum members plus Golden Oak residents and Club 33 members on Oct. 13, Gold members on Oct. 14, and Silver members, Disney Vacation Club members and Adventures by Disney Adventure Insiders on Oct. 15.
That gives the most loyal cruisers up to a week’s head start, more than 14 months before the maiden voyage.
