Food, water, drones, bubbles… Dollywood has it all for the Summer Celebration that started this Father’s Day and Juneteenth Weekend!
Dollywood has been winning a ton of awards lately, and frankly some awards that are just hard to believe. The theme park took Trip Advisor’s top prize as voted by guests for the best theme park in the United States. It may seem outlandish to think that Dollywood is now rated higher than the Magic Kingdom, but a glance at all the improvements over the last decade reveals a park that was once more Six Flags is now world-class awesome. Dollywood has some of the best roller coasters in the world, is one of the cleanest and friendliest parks in the world, and new areas added are every bit as impressive as Disney or Universal Studios. Major money is being invested constantly in Dollywood… and fans are rewarding it greatly. According to reporters for That Park Place, Dollywood’s attendance this year is truly impressive. That’s not always a great thing for guests as it means the park is crowded or at capacity, but it can’t be hurting Parton’s Smoky Mountain plans for the future.
All of that said, Dollywood is kicking off its Summer Celebration and there’s plenty of reason to check it out through the very beginning of August. New shows, seasonal food offerings, a drone nighttime show, plus the return of a Gazillion Bubbles theatrical display… there’s plenty to enjoy.
