That Star Wars Girl announced her press pass was cancelled on April 4th writing on X, “Got the email; C2E2 canceled my press pass. It’s on.”

In a response to fellow YouTuber ThatUmbrellaGuy, she confirmed that she had previously been approved for a press pass, but it was subsequently put “under review” and then cancelled.

She wrote on X, “They had previously approved it, then put it ‘under review’ when they found out I was friends with Jon, Shane & Ethan. It’s total BS.”

In another response to comic book creator Michael Bancroft, Anna revealed the press pass was revoked because she was not “‘diverse’ enough.”

She elaborated on this in a separate thread writing, “The ‘reason’ C2E2 gave for canceling me was ‘diversity’ requirements.. I’m Azorean,Danish,African, & few others. A true mut. Azores population is 242,846, California Azorean is 350,000. The world population is 8.1 Billion. 592,846 out of 8.1 Billion is 0.007319086419753086%..”

“C2E2 & Chris D’Lando, You want us to believe you care about diversity & ‘minorities’ I’m probably one of the most ‘diverse’ wahmen that applied for press. You are full of s**t,” she added.

In a follow-up post she added, “Apparently there’s some confusion with the context of the screenie. When I applied for my press pass there’s a specific section where you have to fill out the physical description of your outlets audience that does have to do with race. Them saying ‘diverse outlets’ is not just talking about the type of content I make but also the type of people that watch me. There’s alot more to it than the screenshot I posted. I’ll do a stream later to explain more but it’s f***ed.”

In a stream with Aussie Overlaw’d on YouTube, That Star Wars Girl provided more details saying, “[C2E2] has a section when you fill out your audience. And it says like, ‘What is diverse about your audience?’ … I thought it was weird when I was filling it out. It’s the typical analytics thing like, ‘Oh, you know, what’s your subscriber count, what’s your following, how much traction do each one of your sites get?’ And that’s easy, you just copy and paste it over from your analytics.”

“But it said like, ‘What’s the demographic of your audience?’ And so, to me, that means like what age group, right? So I went in, I looked at my analytics, I put my age group is between 13 and 65. So that’s a really big age group,” she continued.

That Star Wars Girl elaborated, “”So when I filled out my audience is males and females is 13 to 65, and it flagged it that that was incorrect … It said I needed to put the demographics and ethnicities of my audience and I thought it was so weird. I’ve never had that happen before. I wish I had screenshotted it, but I didn’t even think about it at the time because, again, this was months ago. And I was like, ‘What on earth are you talking…? Like what do you mean like demographics and ethnicities? How on earth am I going to know that. I’m on YouTube, man. I don’t see what everyone…most people have avatar animes…what do you mean?”

A little later she said, “So when they said ‘diverse’ in the email, it’s because of that. Because not only am I not diverse enough, my audience isn’t diverse enough. My audience, even though we have a huge- America is probably one of the most diverse countries in the f***ing world, we’re not diverse enough. So it’s not just me, it’s my audience isn’t diverse enough.”

That doesn’t even make sense, but I guess the SJWs in charge of the convention think that “diversity” is some universal magic word giving them power to do whatever they want.
