A massive alleged Avengers: Doomsday plot leak that first appeared online months ago is suddenly gaining traction again after previously being dismissed by many Marvel fans.
The rumored storyline, which began circulating back in March, claims to reveal the entire plot of the upcoming Marvel Studios crossover event. At the time, many dismissed it as another unverified internet rumor. However, renewed attention arrived after commentator John Campea discussed the alleged leak and claimed that he had heard information suggesting there may be truth to it.
As always, alleged plot leaks should be treated strictly as rumors unless confirmed by Marvel Studios. However, if this leak is accurate, Avengers: Doomsday could be one of the strangest and most controversial stories Marvel has ever attempted.
In the event these rumors prove true, potential spoilers follow for Avengers: Doomsday.
Avengers Doomsday Plot Leak Reportedly Begins With Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man, Deadpool, and Wolverine
According to the alleged Avengers: Doomsday plot leak, the movie opens on Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man universe, where Peter Parker finds himself fighting Deadpool and Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine.
The leak claims that Deadpool and Wolverine have been sent there with a devastating weapon created by Beast. Their mission is horrifying: destroy Tobey’s Earth in order to prevent an Incursion from destroying their own universe.

Spider-Man and Wolverine battle, but Wolverine succeeds in planting the device. He remains behind as it activates, with both Wolverine and Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man dying alongside that entire universe.
Deadpool escapes back to his own world, while Charles Xavier watches the destruction, devastated by what they were forced to do.
Captain America Returns Through a Secret Timeline
The leak then jumps back to Tony Stark’s funeral after Avengers: Endgame.
Steve Rogers returns the Infinity Stones as previously shown, but instead of simply living quietly with Peggy Carter, he creates a branch timeline where the two have a son named Jim.
Eventually, Loki arrives before the events of the Loki Season 2 finale. He warns Steve that the TVA will eventually eliminate that timeline because Steve was never supposed to remain there or have a child.

Rather than allowing Steve’s family to be erased, Loki offers him another solution: relocation to a universe where they do not already exist.
That universe is the home of the Fantastic Four.
Before leaving, Loki gives Steve a way to contact him again via a business card. Steve then spends the next decade living peacefully with Peggy and their son.
Doctor Doom, The Fantastic Four, and the Incursion Crisis
The alleged Avengers: Doomsday plot leak then shifts to Doctor Doom.
Doom visits Sue Storm and Franklin Richards (as seen in the post-credit scene for The Fantastic Four: First Steps), with the story implying they already have a history together. Doom warns Reed Richards that the Incursions are coming and that their universe will soon be destroyed.
Doom proposes a plan to stop the collapse of the Multiverse, but first asks Reed whether someone from another universe could be hiding on their Earth.

After scanning the planet, they discover Steve Rogers and his family.
The Fantastic Four and Doom approach Steve, explain the threat, and convince him to travel back to Earth-616 to help persuade the Avengers to work with Doom to create large cannons on different earths to separate the universes.
Steve succeeds, however, when the group reaches the X-Men universe, things reportedly fall apart. The mutants have already survived several Incursions and believe the Avengers and Fantastic Four have come to destroy them.
A battle breaks out before Reed and Doom explain their plan: build massive cannon devices across different Earths that can separate the universes permanently and stop the Incursions.
Doom’s True Plan Is Revealed
Steve eventually tells Thor that he encountered a version of Loki who survived, and Thor asks Steve to help find him.
Using Loki’s card, they travel to the TVA, but discover it has been destroyed. Everyone is dead, and Loki has reportedly been killed (his heart has been ripped out), with Doom revealed as the person responsible.

Steve confronts Doom and learns that the villain’s true objective was never saving the Multiverse. Instead, Doom plans to let the Incursions happen so he can rebuild existence in his own image and bring back his dead family.
The leak claims Steve’s arrival in the Fantastic Four universe was actually the cause of that universe’s Incursion. Doom became obsessed with stopping it, but his experiments resulted in the death of his family and left him horribly disfigured, leading him to wear his iconic armor and mask.
In retaliation, Doom kills Steve’s 10 year-old son in front of him.
Avengers, X-Men, and Fantastic Four Unite Against Doom
The alleged finale sees the Avengers, Fantastic Four, and X-Men join forces for a massive assault on Latveria.
Doom prepares for war alongside his followers, including mysterious masked witches. Yes, folks, Disney is doing witches…again.
Thor reportedly prays to Odin, resulting in an army from Valhalla arriving to help fight against Doom. However, the heroes ultimately fail. The universes collide, reality collapses, and everyone dies.
Everyone except Doom.

The final reveal is that Doom stole Loki’s powers, allowing him to reshape existence itself.
Using this ability, Doom creates Battleworld, resurrects everyone, and erases their memories. The surviving heroes and civilians believe Battleworld is the only reality that has ever existed.
The movie reportedly ends with familiar characters living completely new lives inside Doom’s false reality while Doctor Doom rules as Emperor of Battleworld.
Could This Really Be Avengers Doomsday?
At this point, the alleged Avengers: Doomsday plot leak remains exactly that: an unconfirmed rumor. Marvel Studios has not verified any of these details, and major blockbuster productions are known for using secrecy, misdirection, and multiple versions of scripts to prevent story details from escaping.
However, the leak’s sudden resurgence months after it was originally dismissed has created a new wave of discussion among Marvel fans, especially now that some industry voices are suggesting there could be more to the rumor than originally believed.

If accurate, this would represent one of the biggest swings Marvel Studios has ever taken, delivering a massive multiverse event filled with returning characters, shocking losses, and a cliffhanger ending designed to reshape the future of the MCU.
Whether this turns out to be the real story of Avengers: Doomsday or simply another internet rumor, it has certainly accomplished one thing: fans are talking. But talking doesn’t necessarily mean they like it.
