Controversial YouTuber Ben Schneider, better known to millions of viewers as Reckless Ben, has landed a deal with one of Hollywood’s biggest talent agencies.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Schneider has signed with Creative Artists Agency (CAA). Over the years, Reckless Ben has built a large following through his unconventional investigations into controversial groups, businesses, and internet personalities.

Yet it was his high-profile investigation into the Bricks & Minifigs LEGO resale franchise that propelled him beyond his core YouTube audience and into the mainstream. What began as an investigation into missing LEGO sets evolved into an ongoing saga involving lawsuits, police investigations, court orders, and a steady stream of new developments.
For a time, Reckless Ben claimed that speaking publicly about the case could expose him to legal jeopardy.
“I can’t post it, or I will go to jail,” he claimed in a video.
Even then, the Bricks & Minifigs controversy continued attracting widespread attention.
From Internet Creator to Worldwide Phenomenon
In a statement provided to The Hollywood Reporter, CAA described Schneider as a filmmaker whose work blends investigative journalism, immersive participation, humor, and real-world adventure.
“Ben has built a worldwide audience that spans millions of viewers across multiple platforms,” the agency wrote.
Reckless Ben’s investigation into Bricks & Minifigs has become his most successful project to date. Blending elements of true crime, conspiracy, corruption, and collectibles, the series has attracted a massive crossover audience as the controversy continues to unfold.

The investigation began after Schneider looked into the disappearance of a valuable Star Wars LEGO collection. Part 1, I Tracked Down the Thief Who Stole $200,000 of LEGO, has now surpassed 6.5 million views.
As the story expanded, Reckless Ben himself became part of the controversy. Bricks & Minifigs filed a lawsuit against Schneider and others. The YouTuber claimed at the end of May that he had fled to Mexico to avoid arrest for what he described as “some mystery crime.”
The Investigation Keeps Growing
Subsequent developments included leaked police bodycam footage and the permanent closure of the Bricks & Minifigs location at the center of the controversy. A federal judge also temporarily restricted distribution of the third installment in the series. Just days after release, the video has already amassed more than 5.4 million views.

CAA clearly believes Reckless Ben’s approach has significant potential. The agency wrote that it is “his combination of courage, authenticity, and relentless pursuit of the truth that has transformed Ben from an internet creator into a worldwide phenomenon.”
What’s Next for Reckless Ben?
Signing with CAA places Reckless Ben alongside some of the entertainment industry’s most recognizable actors, filmmakers, writers, and digital creators.
While neither Schneider nor CAA announced any specific projects alongside the representation deal, the move positions the creator for opportunities beyond YouTube, including documentary films, streaming projects, television development, and other entertainment ventures.

Meanwhile, the legal battle surrounding Bricks & Minifigs and the allegedly stolen Star Wars LEGO sets remains unresolved. BAM Franchising, the company’s parent organization, has filed a federal RICO lawsuit against Schneider, while separate misdemeanor charges remain pending over allegations that he entered the company’s Utah headquarters using a hidden camera during his investigation.
For now, Schneider’s focus appears to remain on his ongoing investigation and legal troubles. But by signing with CAA, Reckless Ben has also positioned himself for a much larger stage once the Bricks & Minifigs saga finally comes to an end.
