A new character named Buddy, a support robot created by Walt Disney Imagineering and Pixar Animation Studios, has been added in a new pre‑ride scene. Buddy is designed to introduce riders to the updated gameplay elements and offer a brief training sequence before the main ride experience begins.
For the first time ever, guests will also get to see Buzz and Zurg in an opening scene as they start their mission.
