Jimmy Kimmel Makes Even Winning an Award About President Trump in Latest Public TDS Meltdown

Winning an award used to be about… winning the award. This latest TDS meltdown by Kimmel makes his win less about television excellence and more about settling political scores.

Avatar: Fire and Ash Crosses $1 Billion at the Box Office — Still Substantially Trailing The Way of Water

The Avatar box office story has once again hit a major milestone, but context matters more than headlines. Avatar: Fire and Ash has officially crossed $1 billion at the worldwide box office, doing so in roughly three weeks of global release. The post-finale damage control tour for Stranger Things continues — and somehow The Duffer Brothers keep making it worse.

In the latest attempt to explain away the backlash surrounding the show’s controversial ending, Matt Duffer has now admitted he regrets answering questions about the finale at all, while simultaneously asking frustrated viewers to cut him “some slack.” The problem? ‘Zootopia 2’ Becomes Disney Animation’s Highest-Grossing Film Ever

At the end of a rough year for the company, Disney had a historic win. Zootopia 2 has become Walt Disney Animation’s highest-grossing movie ever, with $1.46 billion at the global box office. Previously, the record was held by 2019’s Frozen II, with $1.45 billion. While many of the company’s 2025 releases, like Snow White and Captain America: Brave New World, faltered at the box office, Zootopia 2 could provide a template for projects in other franchises.

Well, in what seems like for the first time in forever, Disney is bringing back that Americana with their entry in this year’s Tournament of Roses Parade: a brand new, grand float to be called “Disney Celebrates America”.

Now, Weiss has invited him to visit the newsroom for himself.
