Walt Disney World has released additional details about the Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party characters appearing during the 2026 Halloween event at Magic Kingdom. The expanded character guide includes returning favorites, Halloween costumes, Disney villains, and locations where guests can find select character greetings during the separately ticketed party.
The 2026 event will take place on select nights from August 7 through October 31 at Magic Kingdom. Disney previously announced several character appearances, including Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse in Halloween attire, Jack Skellington and Sally from “The Nightmare Before Christmas,” Winnie the Pooh in a bumblebee costume, and Disney couples such as Ariel and Eric and Aladdin and Jasmine.
Main Street, U.S.A. Character Locations
Several of the party’s character greetings will take place near the entrance area of Magic Kingdom.
Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse will appear together at Town Square Theater while wearing Halloween costumes.

Jack Skellington and Sally will also greet guests at Town Square Theater during the event. The “Nightmare Before Christmas” couple are some favorites among fans, so be sure to line up early if you are hoping to get a picture with them.
Adventureland Character Meet-and-Greets
Adventureland will feature several character appearances connected to Disney films and pirate themes.
Aladdin, Abu, Princess Jasmine, and Genie will appear at Agrabah Marketplace. Captain Jack Sparrow will also be available for character greetings near Caribbean Plaza.
Guests can also find Mirabel and Bruno from “Encanto” at the Gazebo.
Liberty Square Character Locations
Liberty Square will include several Haunted Mansion-inspired character experiences.
Miss Carlotta, Madam Renatta, and Broome the Butler will appear near the Haunted Mansion area. The Hitchhiking Ghosts are also likely to appear in the area.
Frontierland Character Appearances
Frontierland will include appearances from characters connected to the western-themed area of Magic Kingdom.

Shaker, Wendell, and Big Al are scheduled to appear in Frontierland during the party. These characters are typically presented as roaming appearances rather than a single fixed greeting location.
Chip ’n’ Dale will appear near the exit of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
Fantasyland Character Locations
Fantasyland will feature several character meet-and-greet ofrom beloved Disney animations.
Alice, the Mad Hatter, the Queen of Hearts, Tweedle Dee, and Tweedle Dum will appear near the Mad Tea Party attraction. Anastasia, Drizella, and Lady Tremaine will also appear in Fantasyland.
Ariel and Eric will meet guests near Under the Sea — Journey of the Little Mermaid. Belle will appear near Enchanted Tales with Belle, while Gaston will greet guests near Gaston’s Tavern.
Additional Fantasyland appearances include Disney characters in Halloween costumes at Storybook Circus: Daisy Duck, Donald Duck, and Pluto.

Winnie the Pooh and his friends will also appear in Halloween costumes at Pooh’s Thotful Spot. Pooh will wear a bumblebee costume, Piglet will dress as a butterfly, Eeyore will appear in a clown costume, and Tigger will wear a pirate costume.
Tomorrowland Character Appearances
Tomorrowland will include a new Stitch-themed experience during the 2026 party. Stitch, along with Lilo and Angel, will appear at a masquerade event at Rockettower Plaza Stage.
Disney Villains and Seasonal Character Encounters
Disney villains will also appear during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party as part of the event’s entertainment offerings. The 2026 party will include villain appearances in Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular, including Maleficent, along with other Disney villains featured in the stage show.

Other Disney villains and seasonal characters are likely to be seen across Magic Kingdom, but a complete line-up is yet to be released.
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Includes More Than Character Greetings
Character meet-and-greets are one part of the larger Halloween event at Magic Kingdom. The party also includes Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade, Halloween-themed fireworks, trick-or-treating, and other seasonal entertainment.
The event requires a separate ticket and takes place on select evenings. Guests should check Disney’s official event information for the latest details before attending, as character locations, appearances, and schedules can change.
