Walt Disney World is expected to reveal the track list for the updated “Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets” on April 16th after already confirming one song today. This comes as guests anticipate the reopening to Rock ‘n’ Rollercaster this summer, perhaps as early as Memorial Day weekend.

The attraction at Disney’s Hollywood Studios closed in early 2026 for a major retheme. The ride originally opened in 1999 and featured music by Aerosmith. Disney announced plans to replace that theme with characters from The Muppets franchise as part of broader park updates.
Changes to the Attraction
The updated version of the coaster will retain its existing ride system and track layout. However, Disney is replacing the storyline, preshow, and onboard audio. The new concept centers on The Muppets, including the in-universe band Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem.

Guests will see the G-Force Studios behind the scene in the queue, before following the band as they travel through Los Angeles to reach a performance. This structure reflects the original attraction’s high-speed journey format.
Construction updates have shown that crews removed Aerosmith references from the attraction. These include signage, props, and themed elements tied to the band. Reports from park observers indicate that work continues on interior show scenes and preshow areas.
Music Remains a Key Element
Music plays a central role in the Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster experience. In its previous version, each ride vehicle featured a different Aerosmith track. This format allowed for variation between rides.

The updated attraction is expected to continue that approach. However, Disney has not confirmed how many songs will be included. It’s also unclear whether the music will consist of original compositions, existing songs, or reinterpretations.
Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem have appeared in multiple Muppets productions over the years. Their musical style blends rock, funk, and rhythm-and-blues influences. The upcoming track list may reflect that range, though details remain unconfirmed.
“Song 2” by Blur
Disney has already announced one song for the upcoming ride. The Electric Mayhem will cover Song 2 by Blur, released in 1997 as part of the new Rock ‘n’ Rollercoaster track.
The original song runs just over two minutes and features a loud, guitar-driven sound with a simple structure. It’s widely recognized for its abrupt opening and the repeated “woo-hoo” vocal hook.
Timeline and Remaining Questions
Disney has not announced an official reopening date for the attraction other than summer 2026. However, some Disney fans are suggesting the rethemed ride may reopen around the Memorial Day weekend.
The expected release of the track list will likely shine light on the creative direction of the project.

The parks are Pedo Disney’s way of perverting your kids. For your kids mental health, don’t expose them to Disney woke propaganda Parks. They’re one step away from Death Camps, in my book: lowering the birth rates.
And, if you give your money to Disney, you are funding this evil.
