Walt Disney World has announced a new resort hotel discounts for Annual Passholders, offering savings of up to 40% on select room rates for summer 2026. The offer covers many dates during the traditional summer travel season and applies at a range of on-site hotels within the Disney Resorts Collection.
Discount Details and Dates
The discounted rates are valid for most nights from May 1 through July 29, 2026.
Annual Passholders can save:
- Up to 40% on stays of four or more consecutive nights;
- Up to 35% on stays of one to three consecutive nights.

Bookings for the promotion are open, and savings percentages vary by hotel and length of stay. The exact amount a guest saves depends on the standard room rate for the specific dates and resort.
To receive the discounted rate, the primary guest must present a valid Walt Disney World Annual Pass at check-in. Standard terms and conditions for Annual Passholder discounts apply, including that offers generally are limited, subject to availability, and may not be combined with other deals.

This hotel rate discount adds to a broader suite of summer 2026 offers at Walt Disney World. A room-and-ticket package provides two free hotel nights and two free park days with the purchase of a qualifying four-night, four-day package for arrivals from late May through mid-September 2026.

Guests can also enjoy free water park entry on check-in day for certain hotels. Other offers include a free dining plan for children with qualifying bookings and separate hotel discounts for Florida residents.
Discounts During Prime Vacation Time
Something is quite amiss with such big discounts during prime family vacation time. With summer break for children, the hottest months tend to be Disney’s peak season. At least, they used to be. And that they are reducing prices months in advance signals Walt Disney World is not expecting a full house this summer.

For decades, summer travel sold strongly without aggressive pricing. Summer attendance at Walt Disney World has become less consistent than it once was. Families still travel, but heat, higher prices, and more travel options have made summer less reliably strong. Hotel, ticket, and food prices increased sharply in recent years. Discounts help bring effective prices closer to what many travelers are willing to pay.
Additionally Universal Orlando continues to expand, and many families enjoy what Epic Universe has to offer. Disney has more competition for those travel dollars.
Hotel discounts are a targeted way to boost on-site stays without broadly reducing ticket prices.
