IDW Licensing Editor Heather Antos reacted to news that Elon Musk is funding a lawsuit against The Walt Disney Company by Gina Carano requesting her own lawsuit.

Antos took to X where she shared a screenshot of an article that reads, “Elon Musk, making good on a promise to foot the legal bill for users who claim they have been discriminated against due to their activity on his platform, is helping fund the suit through the X.”

Alongside this screenshot, she wrote, “Yo Mu$k, I’ve got a few things I’d like to talk to you about if that offer is real…”

To be clear, Musk’s original offer stated, “If you were unfairly treated by your employer due to posting or liking something on this platform, we will fund your legal bill. No limit. Please let us know.”

Thus, as pointed out by Richard C. Meyer who runs the YouTube channel Comics MATTER w/Ya Boi Zack, it appears Antos is accusing Marvel, Valiant, Unikrn, or her current employer IDW of discrimination.

Meyer posted a screenshot of Antos’ post and asked, “Are you accusing Marvel, Valiant or your current employer, IDW, of discrimination? Which one is it, Heather?”

According to her LinkedIn profile, Antos was an Assistant Editor at Marvel Entertainment between February 2015 and 2018. She left Marvel to become the Editor in Chief of an eSports website called Unikrn in March 2018. Her stint at the website would last less than a year and she left the site in December 2018.

From there she moved to Valiant Comics in January 2019 and oversaw plummeting sales as a Senior Editor until she left in April 2021. She joined IDW Publishing as an Editor in April 2021 and was subsequently promoted to Senior Editor in December  2021. In April 2023 she was promoted to the Licensing Group Editor.

She has no other job experience aside from being an independent editor and story consultant, which she claims to have been doing since 2016.

Interestingly, Antos engaged in the social media mobs attacking Gina Carano back in 2020. In December 2020, she defamed Carano Rosario Dawson, and Bill Burr as “transphobic” writing on X, “I can still enjoy Star Wars while being vocal and aware of the problems of casting transphobic players such as Gina Carano, Rosario Dawson, and Bill Burr. It’s not hypocritical. I have been VERY vocal about my thoughts on the casting of this show.”

Not only did she defame them, she admitted she hated the fact they were cast in Star Wars writing, “I know I won’t always get my wording right, but I do know where I stand, and that is I absolutely HATE that Rosario, Gina, and Bill are continuously cast in this franchise.”

Antos also appeared to defame Carano as a N*zi. She responded to a post by X user OhThatTyler defaming her as anti-Semitic writing, “People didn’t ask to be born Jewish. People CHOSE to be Republican. They CHOSE to be a N*zi. She should be ashamed.”
