Actresses Isabela Merced and Sara Sampaio seemingly revealed Superman’s logo for James Gunn’s upcoming Superman: Legacy film.

Around the same time that James Gunn shared a cast photo following a table read, Merced and Sampaio shared their nameplates that feature the Superman logo to their Instagram stories.

The stories were captured by DCU Updates and shared to X.

You can see Merced’s nameplate as well as Jennifer Holland’s in the background that reveals what the logo will look like. Of note, Merced’s nameplate has a different color scheme than Holland’s. While Merced’s is white and black, Holland’s is blue and black. So it’s possible there might be two Superman suits with different color schemes.

As for Sampaio, she also shared the blue and black Superman logo.

The design is clearly inspired if not a direct copy of Alex Ross’ Kingdom Come logo. Gunn had seemingly teased it back in November 2022 when he posted a panel of Superman from the comic and captioned it, “Making plans.”

It’s possible a suit reveal might be coming sooner rather than later. Rachel Brosnahan spoke with Deadline at the SAG Awards and detailed that during her trip to Atlanta for the table read she got to see the suit.

She said, “I’m still preparing. I’m talking to some journalists. I’m reading a lot of comics. There’s so many that I hadn’t read before. And so it’s been really fun to dig into this universe. And we were just out in Atlanta, we did our first table read, I got to see the suit, and I was blown away. So I hope that the fans are, as well.”

She also told The Hollywood Reporter that she has tried on a lot of costumes. If she’s tried on a bunch, it’s likely Superman actor David Corenswet has as well.

Brosnahan said, “I tried on a lot of costumes. I think James is sorting through them right now and we’re figuring out the look.”
