Jimmy Kimmel Cries Censorship Over Trump While Ignoring Biden Real Pressure on YouTube

On the night Jimmy Kimmel returned to Jimmy Kimmel Live! after his suspension, he delivered a tearful, defiant monologue. He railed against President Donald Trump, mocked FCC Chair Brendan Carr, and declared that attempts to silence him amounted to censorship and an assault on free speech. But there was a glaring omission in this Jimmy Kimmel free speech sermon — the biggest censorship bombshell of the year had dropped the very same day, and he said nothing about it.

Kimmel Casts Himself as a Victim

Kimmel framed his suspension as a government attempt to silence him, telling his audience: “A government threat to silence a comedian the president doesn’t like is anti-American.”

He accused Trump of trying to “cancel” him, mocked affiliates for refusing to air his program, and claimed his return was a victory for the First Amendment. He teared up, praised Erika Kirk’s grace in forgiving her husband’s killer (while ironically seeking forgiveness for himself as well), and then went straight back to political attacks.

But here’s the truth: Jimmy Kimmel wasn’t the victim of censorship by Trump. He wasn’t silenced by the FCC. He was suspended by his own employer, ABC and Disney, after affiliates revolted against remarks that were already proven false before he ever spoke them.

In other words, his suspension was the result of network discipline — not political persecution.

The Story He Ignored

On the very same day, Google admitted what many Americans had long suspected: the Biden administration pressured YouTube to censor ordinary Americans for political speech that violated no platform rules.

As our earlier reporting at That Park Place documented here, the revelations were stunning:

  • Google confirmed the Biden White House leaned on them to take down content from creators who had not violated YouTube’s stated policies.
  • YouTube acknowledged that this pressure was “unacceptable and wrong.”
  • The company pledged to reinstate banned creators and promised never to cave to that kind of political coercion again.

That is real censorship — the government suppressing citizens’ speech on the largest video sharing platform in the world. Yet Kimmel never mentioned it.

Selective Outrage

The contrast couldn’t be clearer. Jimmy Kimmel claimed Trump tried to “cancel” him and framed himself as the victim of government censorship, but the facts show his suspension came from within Disney. Meanwhile, the Biden administration was caught red-handed pressuring Google to silence everyday Americans for speaking out against the approved narrative.

Why didn’t Jimmy Kimmel mention that in his censorship rant? Was it ignorance, willful omission, or political loyalty? Whatever the reason, the silence speaks volumes. He had no problem weaponizing the First Amendment to cast himself as a victim. But when it came to defending Americans who actually were censored by a president he approved of, he said nothing.

The Media Double Standard

Kimmel’s selective outrage fits neatly into a larger media pattern. When censorship can be blamed on Trump, it’s front-page news and a rallying cry. When Democrats are exposed for pressuring private companies to shut down dissent, Hollywood’s political mouthpieces suddenly lose their voices.

This is why millions of Americans don’t trust the mainstream press or late-night comedians who play political pundit. They’ll cry crocodile tears over themselves, but when citizens are silenced by the government, they look away.

Final Thoughts

Jimmy Kimmel’s monologue was supposed to be about free speech. He wept, he lectured, and he claimed Trump tried to cancel him. But the biggest censorship story in years broke on the very same day — and Jimmy Kimmel said nothing.

So the next time Kimmel wants to talk about “anti-American” government censorship, maybe he should start with the administration that actually pressured Google to silence average Americans. Until then, his moral high ground looks less like principle and more like politics.

Silence you?

You ****ing lied, Kimmel! Live, on air, you lied. You’re not the victim here; you’re the bad guy, blatantly pushing a false narrative in order to protect your side and demonize the right.

Bunny With A Keyboard

And ABC knowingly permitted him to stay on

TTTRRRUUUTTTHHH

I came here to say this. Every fake Republican and LARPer conservative outed themselves as dim-witted charlatans by falling for the (((mainstream media’s))) framing of this entire issue as a freedom of speech and 1st Amendment issue, when the real issue all along was Kimmel’s blatant and malicious spreading of lies by claiming the Kirk shooter was “one of MAGA’s own”, and all to stir up further violence from his radical left lunatic audience. It’s no shock that there was another sniper yesterday shooting at ICE agents. Remember this the next time any of these people like Joe Rogan, Ted Cruz, and even President Trump himself talks about political violence, that they let the left frame the entire issue instead of pushing back, and have helped the left get away with this and are aiding and abetting further violence from the left.

CleatusDefeatus

I sure hope it sticks in miss vanity’s craw that he will no forever by referred to as a cry baby. THE Cry Baby. What a vag.

Ichabod Slipp

Colbert is seething that he’s not even an afterthought.

FRISH

Really tired of people crying oppression when they don’t even believe people have the right to express opinions they dislike. They’re not victims, they’re just narcissists who demand constant affirmation.
