McDonald’s and Netflix are collaborating on a limited‑time promotional menu tied to the animated film KPop Demon Hunters. The promotion introduces two themed adult meal options at participating McDonald’s restaurants beginning March 31, 2026.
Two Distinct Meal Choices
The promotion centers on two adult meals inspired by fictional music acts from KPop Demon Hunters, described in McDonald’s and Netflix press materials as part of a “battle for the fans.”
One option, the Saja Boys Breakfast Meal, is available during breakfast service hours. It features a Spicy Saja McMuffin, which is a Sausage McMuffin with Egg accompanied by a peppery sauce. Standard hash browns are included as a side, along with a small soft drink.

The second option, the HUNTR/X meal, is available during lunch and dinner hours. This meal includes ten-piece Chicken McNuggets as the main protein item, paired with Ramyeon McShaker Fries, which are seasoned with a spice mix that customers shake onto the fries in the provided bag inspired by the girls’ favorite snack. Two sauces accompany the meal: Hunter Sauce, a sweet chili-style sauce, and Demon Sauce, a bold mustard sauce noted for its distinctive purple color. A medium-sized soft drink is also included.
Each meal includes a distinctive collectible photo card featuring characters tied to the respective theme. Fans will also find a Derpy access card, with a QR code that provide access to exclusive digital content through the McDonald’s mobile app.

In addition to the two main meals, McDonald’s is offering a Derpy McFlurry as a dessert option. The McFlurry features vanilla soft-serve ice cream mixed with berry-flavored popping pearls and wild berry sauce, referencing a character from the film.
Context
KPop Demon Hunters is a 2025 animated musical fantasy film produced for Netflix that follows a fictional K‑pop girl group, HUNTR/X, and their efforts to protect the world from demons. They must battle the Saja Boys, a demonic boy band, for the hearts and souls of their fans.
The film unexpectedly became a pop sensation upon release. Since then, Netflix and Sony have increased marketing efforts to match the high level of fan interest. Official merchandise, including toys, was released this year, missing the 2025 Christmas season.

The McDonald’s meals are part of this ongoing promotion. Typically, fast-food tie-in meals are launched around a film’s release. But with KPop Demon Hunters, Sony did not anticipate planning such marketing in advance. Instead, the continued promotional efforts capitalize on the film’s success, keeping it in the public’s attention and maintaining fan engagement, likely in preparation for a sequel that is still several years away.
McDonald’s states the KPop Demon Hunters themed meals will be available while supplies last beginning March 31, 2026.
