Megyn Kelly isn’t known for mincing words, but even by her standards, her latest comments about Blake Lively were scathing. On her SiriusXM program, The Megyn Kelly Show, the host revealed that Lively’s legal team had attempted to subpoena her in the ongoing lawsuit against actor-director Justin Baldoni. Kelly not only defeated the subpoena but took the opportunity to unleash a verbal barrage against the Hollywood star, branding her a “narcissistic bully” and much worse.

The explosive exchange highlights just how messy and far-reaching the It Ends With Us fallout has become. What began as a $250 million lawsuit filed by Lively against Baldoni has snowballed into a multi-front battle involving countersuits, leaked footage, industry gossip, and now even media figures being dragged into the legal fray.

Kelly Calls Out Lively’s Subpoena Attempt

Kelly explained that she and her team were among the media outlets targeted by Lively’s lawyers, who demanded access to “confidential and proprietary materials” used in coverage of the case. To Kelly, the very idea was outrageous:

“We can now reveal that we were among those targeted by Blake Lively,” she said. “Yes, she actually tried to get the confidential and proprietary materials my team and I used for any and all stories about her.”

According to Kelly, the subpoena quickly crumbled due to a missed filing deadline. Even so, she made clear she would never have complied, citing the First Amendment and journalistic independence:

“We gave her absolutely nothing,” Kelly said. “Not one document, not one record, not one communication.”

“Narcissistic, Liar, Bully Brat”

Having beaten the legal maneuver, Kelly did not hold back in skewering Lively personally. In addition to calling her a “pathetic, untalented, narcissistic bully,” she landed a devastating line that spread quickly online:

“Blake Lively is a narcissistic, liar, bully brat,” Kelly said. “That’s the truth in my opinion.”

Kelly mocked the notion that she was part of some orchestrated campaign against Lively, rejecting the idea she needed Justin Baldoni’s influence to form her opinion.

“This is how narcissistic this woman is,” Kelly noted. “She actually thinks I needed to get paid by Baldoni’s team to say negative things about her. News flash, Blake. I came to those conclusions totally organically.”

Allegations of Toxic Behavior

Kelly went further by airing claims from Hollywood insiders about Lively’s alleged mistreatment of colleagues. She cited a former assistant director on A Simple Favor who reportedly quit the industry after dealing with Lively, and crew members from Gossip Girl who described her as dismissive toward co-star Leighton Meester and toward fans.

During the filming of It Ends With Us, Kelly said, Lively accused Baldoni of nepotistically casting a friend in a way that put her in an uncomfortable position. She added that Lively has leaned on powerful allies like Ryan Reynolds and Taylor Swift as “dragons” to shield her from scrutiny.

“This is yet another entitled, nasty Hollywood snob who thinks she is untouchable,” Kelly declared.

The Larger Legal War

The backdrop to all this is the escalating courtroom clash between Lively and Baldoni.

  • In December 2024, Lively sued Baldoni for $250 million, alleging harassment, emotional distress, and a deliberate smear campaign.
  • Baldoni hit back with a $400 million countersuit, accusing Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds, and others of defamation.
  • Along the way, leaked set footage appeared to undercut some of Lively’s claims, with Kelly previously dismissing the actress’s allegations as a “nothing burger.”
  • Lively, however, has maintained she faced mistreatment and a conspiracy to silence her, even as her legal maneuvers now seem to be backfiring.

Why These Megyn Kelly Blake Lively Comments Matter

Megyn Kelly is no stranger to controversy, but her relentless takedown of Blake Lively demonstrates just how volatile this legal saga has become. What began as a dispute between two stars of a single film has spiraled into a cultural flashpoint involving Hollywood’s elite, massive financial stakes, and now a showdown over media freedom.

If nothing else, Kelly’s remarks suggest that Lively’s legal strategy may be alienating more people than it persuades. The court of public opinion is increasingly playing as much of a role as the courtroom itself.

Final Thoughts

Whether or not Blake Lively ultimately prevails against Justin Baldoni, one thing is clear: she has ignited battles on multiple fronts—and Megyn Kelly is not backing down. From missed subpoenas to verbal beatdowns on national radio, the actress now finds herself in the middle of a storm that shows no signs of calming.

Kelly’s words cut to the heart of the matter: “If you’re not speaking out against her, you must be on her payroll.”

In the end, that blunt assessment might be the most enduring headline from this chapter of the lawsuit saga.

Some Loser

Good, we need more people like Megyn Kelly calling out these idiots in follywood and everywhere else they congregate in this day and age!

Vallor

Blake Lively tried to boost her very diminished Hollywood value, and get a fat paycheck, by generating a “#metoo” moment against a guy who is a toxic feminist.

There are no champions to root for in this case, just the slight thrill of voyeurism from looking into the lives of the rich and famous. But truth will leave the building under the guise of some settlement or another that leaves the basic questions unanswered: did Baldoni harass and and intimidate her on the set or not and did she try to use her and her husband’s influence to stage a coup and usurp Baldoni as the main driving force behind the project?

Unfortunately, the real victims are the people who have to listen to this crap.

I don’t have sympathy toward Baldoni. But falsely using sexual harassment accusation to win a weak case is simply evil. Our civilization badly needs course correction or else we will literally be giving new born a forehead tatoo: victim, racist, oppressor etc.

Blake literally thinks that if a person does not like her, they must be bad people.
