Nelson Peltz, Elon Musk, and Donald Trump are three very rich men who have made a lot of waves in the last year.

Of course, Trump shocked the world with a stunning electoral victory over Kamala Harris to become president-elect of the United States just last week.

Musk, the world’s richest man, has become a champion for free speech since his acquisition of Twitter, transforming it into X. He will also serve as co-head of Trump’s new Department of Government Efficiency, which seeks to clean up needless spending on the federal level.

Peltz waged a different kind of battle, one that was far less successful than either of the other two. The billionaire waged a proxy battle against the board of the Walt Disney company, attempting to gain a seat and upset the balance of power against longtime CEO Bob Iger.

And while Peltz ultimately failed in his bid to turn the Disney company around, without him the victories secured by Musk and Trump might never have happened.

“I was a matchmaker,” Peltz said, stating that he was the one who first brought Musk and Trump together. “I don’t know that Donald would have had this sweeping victory without Elon’s help. Elon was in Pennsylvania. I thought he was going to be Dutch or something. He was there almost full time. He came to New York every now and then to say hello. But other than that, he was, he was there. And I take my hat off to him. I mean, he got the bit in his teeth and he wanted it to to work. And if Donald gives him the opportunity, he will cut costs. And that’s what we need to do. We need to cut costs.”

Peltz said that he brought the two men together at a breakfast which also included his son Diesel. And after that fateful breakfast with Nelson Peltz, both Elon Musk and Donald Trump worked together to completely upset the political establishment of the United States.

“I’m very pleased, I’m very optimistic,” Peltz said, reflecting on his thoughts heading into a second Trump presidency. “The alternative was ridiculous.”

Peltz also took this opportunity to reflect on his bitter proxy battle with Iger and the Disney company. He referred to the Disney board as being inept and corrupt, before reflecting positively on the appointment of James Gorman as its new chairman. Gorman is heading up the search for Iger’s replacement, and Peltz believes that was part of the reason why Disney’s stock recently saw an upswing following Trump’s domination of the electoral college.

In a roundabout way, it seems as though Peltz may have brought change to the Disney company after all by facilitating the meeting of the victorious duo. Inside sources alleged to the New York Post that Iger and Disney’s higher ups are making sweeping changes in the wake of Trump’s win, scrambling to add conservative pro-Trump voices to shows like The View.

With Trump securing both a decisive electoral college win and becoming the first Republican candidate to secure the popular vote in two decades, its become clear that Hollywood celebrity voices are detached from the wants and needs of the average American. Tried and true media organizations like Disney’s ABC are losing out to civilian journalists and content creators who spoke the true will of the majority of Americans in this election cycle.

That means in this newly reshaped United States of America, legacy media outlets and even massive companies like Disney have to make sweeping changes or face the reality of falling headfirst into obscurity.

Take The View, for example.

The show’s six hosts, including two conservative women, are all staunchly anti-Trump. In the week since the presidential election, there have been daily tirades on the ABC daytime talkshow. The hosts have been lambasting the people of the United States for the choice they made at the polls.

Just this week, Whoopi Goldberg, the show’s long-time permanent host, went on a tirade. The Sister Act star, with a net worth of $60 million, compared herself with working class Americans who are concerned about the economy. The speech was shocking in its tone deafness and spoke to a massive problem facing The View and other left-leaning Hollywood properties.

If, as the election results seem to indicate, the majority of Americans oppose the views of The View (heh…) then something has got to give.

According to The New York Post,  ABC News Group President Debra OConnell her boss Almin Karamehmedovic have been holding “intense sit-downs” with various executive producers and editorial leadership.

The View is facing pressure from higher-ups,” The Post’s source said. “Viewers can expect some major changes including bringing in new panelists that can bring in a pro-Trump perspective.”

The source went on to add, ““Everyone on The View endorsed Kamala Harris. They lost. They are out of touch with America. For a show about different perspectives, The View doesn’t seem to have any when it comes to Trump. ABC bosses don’t want to alienate the pro-Trump demographic.”

Do you believe that the team of Nelson Peltz, Elon Musk, and Donald Trump have made a difference? Do you believe the Disney company will actually make changes to shows like The View? Sound off and let us know!
