According to ComicBookMovie, the full plot of Avengers: Doomsday has leaked online. The story details suggest that this will be major chapter in the MCU’s Multiverse Saga, bringing together all of the Marvel properties in a way that would have been unimaginable until recently.

That said, these are only rumors and there is still time for reshoots and major pivots. Still, if the alleged leaks are accurate, there could be spoilers below.

Reintroducing Incursions

Doomsday will reportedly center around Incursions, catastrophic multiversal events where two separate universes collide and share the same space. Introduced in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Incursions are triggered by excessive multiverse interference, and the only way to prevent one is for one of the colliding worlds to be destroyed.

The film is expected to open with Deadpool and Wolverine sent to Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man universe by Beast. Equipped with a device capable of destroying that world, a battle ensues. Wolverine activates the device, sacrificing himself alongside Spider-Man, while Deadpool returns to his own reality. Meanwhile, Professor X looks on in sorrow.

Steve Rogers’ New Life and Earth-828

In the next scene, viewers may see Steve Rogers starting his new life in the past with Peggy Carter. They have a son, Jim, who was shown briefly in the trailer. While it’s unclear how it fits into the established timeline, Loki visits Steve and tells him that his reality is scheduled to be pruned. He helps the Rogers family move to Earth-828, a reality in which they never existed—and the home of the Fantastic Four and Doctor Doom.

Doctor Doom meets with Reed Richards, explains Incursions, and tells him that their world is next because someone is living there who does not belong. Together, they approach Rogers and determine to travel to Earth-616. Doctor Doom and Reed Richards have developed a plan to stop the Incursions, though this isn’t fully revealed until later.

The X-Men and Avengers Collide

The next act is expected to feature The X-Men fight the Earth-616 Avengers, though ComicBookMovie suggests that the battle is a small part of the film. Also, its sources were unclear as to why Avengers are in the The X-Men’s reality, though they speculate it is related to Beast’s world-destroying device.

Doctor Doom and Richards’ plan is explained, and the heroes split into teams to start putting the pieces into place across the different realities. Rogers is reunited with Thor, and tells him that he met a version of Loki who is still alive and that he has a means of finding him. They go to find him, which leads into the next part of the story.

Doom’s Revenge

When Steve Rogers and Thor arrive at Loki’s location, they find him dead with his heart ripped out. Somehow, Rogers determines that Doctor Doom is responsible and confronts him. It’s revealed that rather than trying to prevent Incursions, Doctor Doom intends to allow them so that he can rebuild the universe and resurrect his dead family.

ComicBookMovie explains that its information is a little vague, but that it appears that Rogers’ presence in Earth-828 triggered an impending Incursion. Doctor Doom’s efforts to prevent it resulted in the death of his wife and child, and his disfigurement. In an act of revenge, Doctor Doom kills Rogers’ son.

Final Battle

In the midst of this, Thor somehow escapes and tells the Avengers, Fantastic Four, and the X-Men about Doctor Doom’s ultimate plan. Together, they travel to Latveria for the climactic battle. Thor also prays to Odin, who sends reinforcements from Valhalla to join the battle.

However, when Doctor Doom took Loki’s heart, he also gained his powers. He resurrects the dead and wipes their memories. The film reportedly ends with Doctor Doom sitting on his throne as the God Emperor of Battleworld.

Speculation and Rumor

While all of this remains unconfirmed, what is noteworthy about the Doomsday leak is that there appears to be no link between Doctor Doom and Tony Stark. Still, leaks are not scripts, and scripts are not final cuts. For now, this stands as an ambitious rumor—one that imagines the Multiverse Saga reaching its most operatic extreme. Audiences will have to wait until December to see just how much of it proves true.
