Kindred attempted to get Kabrutus and his Steam Curator list taken down in a series of posts on X.
First, Kindred wrote, “The Steam curator harassment group Sweet Baby Inc detected is lead by this person, kabrutusrambo. Here’s them trying to be slick so they don’t get reported. Even with the discriminatory language filed off, the group itself still fails the code of conduct.”

Next, Kindred stated, “anyway report the f*** out of this group.”

Finally, Kindred added, “And report the creator since he loves his account so much.”

Kindred revealed on BlueSky her X account was limited writing, “They got my a**, I’m guessing a few hundred gamers reported me.”
Kindred then shared a screenshot that reads, “After careful review, we determined your account broke the X rules. Your account is temporarily in read-only mode, which means you can’t post, Repost, or Like content. Most accounts regain full access in a week, but it could take longer.”
Kindred also shared another screenshot that reads, “We have determined that you have violated the X Rules, so we’ve temporarily limited some of your account features. While in this state, you can still browse X, but you’re limited to only sending Direct Messages to your followers — no posts, reports, follows, or likes. Your account will be restored to functionality in 6 days and 20 hours.”

Kindred also expressed a number of defeatist feelings after the X account was limited.
Kindred wrote, “Trolling their forums and chats and realizing that they don’t care about sweet baby at all. Sweet baby is just the most visible and the most vulnerable. They think we’re some superfirm funded by blackrock receiving ESG funding and tasked by Some Entity to hold studios hostage.”

Kindred continued, “They don’t know how many of us there are so they make it up. They don’t know what we do so they make it up. They don’t know the impact our work has on the studios that hire us so they make it up.”

“And when they have that many open spaces to play in, they can create their own bogeymen. They think we’re actively making games worse when studios are the ones making the choices they balk at. The nature of our work is *often* at the end, and is often Just Looking At Things,” Kindred wrote.

“As a unit, we have no power toward any of the clients we work with. They’re mad at market conditions, they’re mad at studio decisions, they’re mad at the world changing away from their fascist beliefs,” Kindred opined. “They just need is a punching bag because they know AAA studios will sue them into the earth.”

Kindred added, “They think they’re Doing Activism by targeting smaller, more visible organizations in hopes that AAA studios will…get scared? They don’t know. They don’t have an end goal. Just unmitigated vitriol.”
The Sweet Baby Inc. employee concluded, “Idk man shit was fine after the first day but the Zionists from earlier this week wore me down and I am Entering A Place.”

The Steam Curator list was created by Kabrutus and had around 20,000 followers around the time Kindred attempted to get him and it canceled. As of writing, it currently has over 126,000 followers.
The list tracks games that Sweet Baby Inc. has worked and does not recommend them. The list currently includes 16 games: Tales of Kenzera: ZAU, Neo Cab, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Afterlove EP, Gotham Knights, South of Midnight, Kingdom Eighties, Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew, Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance, Hyper Limit Breaker, Breeze in the Clouds, Goodbye Volcano High, Usual June, Battle Shapers, Sable, and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.

The list originally included 18 games and had Saints Row, Forspoken, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, and Mortal Kombat 1 on it. Kabrutus explained why some games were removed, “A lot of people have been asking why I deleted some reviews related to games that where listed on the IMDB website. That list proved to be a not reliable source since anyone can edit it at any time by adding any game whenever they want, so that’s why I don’t consider IMDB website a valid source anymore.”
He added, “I want to maintain our credibility, people are watching us and paying attention to the curator so I need to be extra careful on what games I review because I don’t want to be unfair with anyone.”

Sweet Baby Inc.’s website features 12 games they’ve worked on. It includes Alan Wake II, God of War: Ragnarok, The Crew Motorfest, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, and Lost Your Marbles alongside games featured on the list including Battle Shapers, Breeze in the Clouds, Goodbye Volcano High, Usual June, Sable, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, and South of Midnight.
Games like Alan Wake II and God of War: Ragnarok are not currently listed because they are not available on Steam. Kabrutus explained on Steam, “I’m aware of those games, but since they haven’t been added to the Steam store yet I can’t add them to the curator rn.”
