She-Hulk: Attorney At Law actress Tatiana Maslany recently shared she does not think a second season is likely to happen.

During an appearance on a Twitch game show called Codenames LIVE! hosted on the NerdIncorrect channel, Maslany first detailed how she no longer has any work.
When asked where people can find her, she said, “I’ve got no job.” When one of the other panelists, Kristian Bruun told her, “Get a job,” she responded, “I’ve been fishing here. If anybody has any [leads].”

She was then asked, “Should we hope for a Season 2 [of She-Hulk: Attorney At Law]?”
Maslany responded, “I don’t think so. I think we blew our budget and Disney was like, ‘No thanks.’

Maslany’s comments are not unheard of. She was previously asked by Extra TV what the chances were for a second season in October.
She answered, “I mean, I don’t think so, yet. Kevin in the scene seems to be very dismissive of this idea, so, if we’re basing this off of the real Kevin, then it doesn’t seem likely. But he was also, I think, just trying to get rid of Jen at that point, because she was asking too many questions… I don’t know. If I could be coy, and have some little secret, I would do that. But, I really don’t. I don’t know anything.”
Maslany’s comments appear to confirm a rumor X scooper ThwipT_ who shared in late November that it was likely a second season would not happen.
ThwipT_ posted, “She Hulk originally planned to have a S2 but due to poor reception it’s probably not going to happen.”

The series had poor viewership after it debuted on Disney+ in August. It did not appear on Nielsen’s Top 10 list for the week of its debut meaning it had lower viewership than 10th places Instant Dream Home, which only garnered 395 million minutes viewed.

The show’s season finale, which aired on October 13, 2022, did draw in 526 million minutes as noted by NowItsKnown on X.
However, it’s unclear how many of those minutes were actually just the season finale and were people binging the entire season once all episodes of the show had been released.

Not only was viewership poor, but audience reception was atrocious. On Rotten Tomatoes the show received a rotten 32%.

As far as how much the show cost, Variety’s Tatiana Siegel reported it cost “some $25 million, dwarfing the budget of a final-season episode of HBO’s Game of Thrones, but without a similar Zeitgeist bang.”
Given the poor viewership as reported by Nielsen and the atrocious audience scores it does not appear that the show had any return on investment. In fact, it appears the show simply racked up costs without providing any positives or benefits let alone financial ones.
