Aside from the trailer, The Pokémon Company did not provide any details on the game.

A brief description on the trailer reads, “A new adventure awaits within Lumiose City, where an urban redevelopment plan is underway to shape the city into a place that belongs to both people and Pokémon.”

It does appear that the game will see the return of Mega evolutions as the symbol for Mega evolutions was shown at the very end of the trailer.

Finally, it appears that there will be two games similar to other mainline Pokémon games as the trailer did state that the game will be “releasing simultaneously worldwide in 2025.”
