In a dramatic turn of events, Wings Interactive, the indie game funding group linked to Sweet Baby Inc. (SBI) and Landfall Games, has begun erasing its online presence in the wake of an bombshell investigative report by Gothic Therapy, a YouTube channel hosted by MasteroftheTDS and WritingRaven.

The Initial Exposure

Gothic Therapy’s original report uncovered ties between Wings Interactive, Landfall Games, and Sweet Baby Inc., suggesting that Wings was not an independent indie funding group but rather a shadow publisher controlled by Landfall and potentially SBI.

Gothic Therapy discovered that:

  • Wings Interactive was registered under a different name, Vingar Interaktiva AB, in Sweden and shared the same address as Landfall Games.
  • Landfall Games’ co-founder, Petter Henriksson, was listed as Wings’ Vice CEO, yet his LinkedIn profile did not mention this role.
  • Kim Belair, CEO of Sweet Baby Inc., previously served on Wings Interactive’s selection board, raising concerns about SBI’s deeper industry involvement.
  • Riot Games had contributed $1 million to Wings in 2021, further fueling speculation about a coordinated industry effort behind the scenes.

These findings led Gothic Therapy to question whether Wings Interactive was truly an independent fund or simply a means for Landfall and SBI to control indie game development while avoiding direct scrutiny.

Wings Goes Dark

Shortly after these revelations, Gothic Therapy noticed that Wings Interactive began systematically erasing itself from the internet.

In the last 24 hours:

  • Wings’ Twitter account has been deleted.
  • Its TikTok and BlueSky accounts have also been removed.
  • The official Wings Interactive Instagram account has been set to private.
  • News articles related to Wings Interactive have vanished from its website.
  • The company’s homepage no longer displays employees, board members, or its selection committee.
  • Wings removed its entire gaming page from its website, with a ‘page not found’ error popping up when anyone tries to access it

MasteroftheTDS and WritingRaven directly addressed Wings Interactive and Sweet Baby Inc., stating that they had anticipated potential damage control efforts and had already archived all relevant information.

MasteroftheTDS remarked: “If you really felt that you were in the right with what you were doing, you wouldn’t have had to delete it.”

The Gothic Therapy hosts also pre-emptively countered any claims that Wings’ actions were due to harassment, acknowledging that while there may have been some individuals engaging in such behavior, deleting an entire company’s online presence suggests a larger issue at play.

“By deleting everything, hiding everything, and showing that you are in full-blown panic mode, you are only proving us right,” WritingRaven said.

The abrupt disappearance of Wings Interactive from the internet raises serious questions about the validity of Gothic Therapy’s findings. If Wings Interactive were merely an indie game funding group with nothing to hide, why would they need to erase their presence so quickly?

The connections between Wings Interactive, Landfall Games, and Sweet Baby Inc. suggest a deeper level of influence in the gaming industry, one that may not align with the image these companies have publicly projected.

Gothic Therapy has vowed to continue their investigation, promising further updates on the situation as they uncover more evidence. For now, one thing is clear: Wings Interactive’s vanishing act has only fueled further suspicion.
