Guests visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom will see a major change to how they access the all-new Bluey’s Wild World. Walt Disney World has confirmed that the Bluey’s Wild World standby queue has replaced the attraction’s virtual queue beginning June 2, 2026.
The update comes just one week after the experience opened at Conservation Station on May 26. During its debut period, Disney required guests to join a virtual queue through the My Disney Experience app before visiting the attraction.
Disney previously stated that the virtual queue would only be used during the initial launch period. Guests can now access Bluey’s Wild World through a traditional standby line instead of securing a boarding group in advance.
Early Access System Drew Mixed Reactions
During its first week of operation, Bluey’s Wild World used a virtual queue that served as the only method of entry. Guests could join the queue at 7 a.m. or 10 a.m. each day using the My Disney Experience app. The 7 a.m. enrollment window did not require guests to be inside the park. However, the 10 a.m. distribution required guests to be inside Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Reports from opening day indicated that boarding groups filled within seconds during the initial 7 a.m. distribution window. Guests who were unable to secure a boarding group had no standby option available.
The system also limited access to Conservation Station and nearby offerings, including Jumping Junction. Because guests needed a boarding group to board the Wildlife Express Train, some visitors expressed frustration about being unable to freely explore the area.

A few days after the attraction opened, the demand began to ease. On May 27, the 10 a.m. boarding took 30 minutes before reaching max capacity. The following day, the latter boarding time took 90 minutes before closing. This ease in demand naturally allows for a less rigid structure to access the new attraction.
What Is Bluey’s Wild World?
Bluey’s Wild World is located inside Conservation Station at Rafiki’s Planet Watch. Guests reach the area by boarding the Wildlife Express Train from Harambe Station in the Africa section of Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
The walk-through experience brings characters from the animated series “Bluey” into the park through interactive activities and themed play spaces. Guests can meet Bluey and Bingo while participating in games inspired by the television show.

Disney has promoted activities based on games featured in the series, including Magic Asparagus and Keepy Uppy. Unlike a traditional theme park attraction, Bluey’s Wild World focuses on interactive play rather than ride vehicles or show scenes.
The experience also encourages guests to explore other areas of Conservation Station during their visit.
How Bluey’s Wild World Changed Conservation Station
One of the most notable additions is Jumping Junction. The new area features Australian animals, including kangaroos and wallabies. Disney designed the exhibit to complement the Australian setting associated with the Bluey television series while continuing the park’s educational mission.

Despite the changes, the location continues to serve its original purpose. Visitors can still learn about animal care, conservation programs, and veterinary medicine through exhibits and viewing areas located throughout the facility.
What Guests Can Expect With the Queue Change
Beginning June 2, the guest experience has become more straightforward.
Visitors interested in Bluey’s Wild World are able to board the Wildlife Express Train and join the standby line upon arrival. The process is similar to many other attractions and experiences throughout Walt Disney World.
Wait times may vary depending on attendance levels and operating conditions. The wait time will likely be higher in the afternoons than closer to park opening.
The transition marks the end of the attraction’s brief launch-period access system. As Disney moves away from the virtual queue, the new Bluey’s Wild World standby queue will become the standard method of entry for guests visiting the experience at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
