Universal Orlando Resort has extended its Annual Passholder benefits for Epic Universe through December 31, 2026, according to updates published on Universal-related announcements and reporting.
The perks were originally expected to conclude at the end of 2025, but recent documentation indicates that the company will continue offering them for an additional year. This news may mean that Epic fans will not be able to receive an Annual Pass to Universal’s newest park next year.
Parking Benefits
Parking perks remain one of the strongest offerings in the extension. Premier Passholders continue to receive complimentary valet or Prime self-parking, subject to availability. Preferred Passholders maintain access to free standard self-parking, along with reduced rates for Prime and valet parking. Power Passholders still receive a 50% discount on regular daytime self-parking, and the discount may be applied toward a prorated upgrade to Prime parking.

These perks apply specifically to Universal Orlando’s primary parking garages, including those serving Epic Universe. They do not apply to hotel parking.
Dining Discounts
Dining benefits also continue largely unchanged. Passholders must present a valid Annual Pass and photo ID to receive discounts at Universal-owned restaurants and outdoor food locations, excluding alcoholic beverages. Premier Passholders receive a 15% discount, while Preferred Passholders receive a 10% reduction.

Participating restaurants within Epic Universe include locations such as Toadstool Café, Mead Hall, Bar Zenith, and Meteor Astropub, among others. These establishments fall under Universal-operated venues, which makes them eligible for the extended discount programs.
Retail Offers
Passholders continue to receive merchandise discounts throughout Epic Universe. Premier Passholders receive 15% off qualifying retail purchases, and Preferred Passholders receive a 10% discount. These reductions apply to a variety of shops, including the Nintendo Super Star Store, The Guild of Mystics, Toothless’ Treasures, and other retail outlets tied to the park’s themed districts.

As with dining, passholders must present proper identification at the time of purchase to receive these benefits.
Experience-Based Perks
Experience-related perks also remain available through 2026. A 10% discount applies to the Darkmoor Monster Makeup Experience, though passholders must book the service in person at the venue or through Guest Services to qualify. Online or remote bookings are not eligible for the reduced rate.

Passholders also retain a 10% discount on VIP guided tours across Universal Orlando’s participating parks, including Epic Universe. Separate theme-park admission is required, and the benefit is limited to one tour per pass per day. Private VIP tours have similar restrictions, though group sizes differ.
Additional discounts remain in place for Coca-Cola Freestyle souvenir cups—15% for Premier Passholders and 10% for Preferred Passholders—as well as reduced recharge pricing. Passholders also receive discounts on select My Universal Photos services, with exclusions detailed in Universal’s documentation.
Restrictions and Clarifications
A continuing restriction that remains important for passholders is that the Express Pass “after 4 p.m.” perk is not valid at Epic Universe. Earlier statements suggesting otherwise were corrected by Universal in April 2025, and the company has since reaffirmed that Express access will not be offered at Epic Universe under existing passholder benefits.

Another major limitation is that admission to Epic Universe is not included with any current Annual Pass tier. Passholders must continue purchasing a separate ticket to enter the new park. Universal has not signaled any plans to integrate Epic Universe access into its standard Annual Pass structure, and analysts have suggested that the extension of perks may indicate that such an addition is not imminent.
Conclusion
The year-long extension of Epic Universe passholder perks maintains continuity for existing Universal Annual Passholders. While admission to the park continues to require a separate ticket, the availability of discounts for parking, food, merchandise, and select experiences provides continued value as Universal refines its evolving pass program.

The decision also raises ongoing questions about whether Epic Universe will eventually be incorporated into Universal’s broader annual-pass framework, but no public commitments have been made.
