A Harry Potter-themed drone show has been announced for Miami, Florida, in March 2026, with organizers confirming it will take place outside of the state’s major theme park complexes.
The series of three performances, called DroneArt Show: Harry Potter, will be hosted at Miramar Regional Park in Miramar, Florida, part of the Miami metropolitan area.
The event is planned for March 26, 27, and 28, 2026. Each performance is expected to begin at approximately 8:00 p.m., with gates opening earlier in the evening. The aerial display will last about 60 to 65 minutes.

The show will use approximately 1,200 LED-equipped drones flying in coordinated patterns above the park. The event description notes the display will be accompanied by music from the Harry Potter film soundtracks, with aerial patterns designed to evoke imagery, characters, and iconic scenes associated with the movies.
The Drone Show
DroneArt Show: Harry Potter™ is a collaboration between DroneArt Show and partners including the entertainment company Warner Bros., which holds rights to the Harry Potter films. Tickets are being sold through event partner Fever.

The event will also incorporate synchronized LED wristbands distributed to attendees. The wristbands are designed to illuminate in coordination with the aerial choreography.
Officials have stressed that the drone presentation is a standalone event and not part of ongoing offerings at Universal Orlando Resort or any of that resort’s parks. The Harry Potter-themed lands at Universal’s parks in Orlando remain separate, permanent attractions with their own rides, shops, and environments.
At Universal Studios Florida, drones have been incorporated into select nighttime lagoon productions in recent years. For example, the park’s “CineSational: A Symphonic Spectacular” has featured coordinated drone sequences alongside water screens, projection mapping, lighting, and fireworks during portions of its run.

Those drones honor many iconic franchises, not just Harry Potter. Universal has also adjusted its nighttime entertainment offerings periodically, meaning drone usage has not been continuous or exclusive to any one franchise. None of those productions have been a standalone Harry Potter-themed drone show. They remain separate from the touring DroneArt Show scheduled for Miramar in 2026.
Planning and Tickets
Organizers have recommended early arrival for attendees since seating and access spaces are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. The shows are being marketed for a wide audience, with those three and younger given free entry.
Event partners also note accommodations such as ADA-compliance at the venue, and they encourage guests to dress for nighttime outdoor conditions due to weather and open-air elements.

Ticket options include general lawn access, deluxe lawn space, reserved seating, and deluxe seating. Higher-tier tickets may include priority entry and a commemorative wand. Organizers advise guests to arrive well before showtime. Late entry may not be permitted once drone operations begin due to safety procedures.
As of mid-February 2026, event officials had not released projected attendance figures or detailed crowd logistics. The focus of public information has remained on the schedules, location, and the show’s creative components.
