The road map appears to be legitimate as Twisted Voxel reported that during the company’s IPO press conference held earlier this week that the company’s CFO Jae-Woo Ahn announced that the photo mode update would arrive in August, new character skins would be rolled out in October, and a collaboration would be introduced at the end of the year.

Finally, he also confirmed that DLC and a sequel are expected to be announced in the future.

On top of the roadmap, Twisted Voxel also reports that Jae-Woo Ahn and the team at Shift Up is considering a PC release of Stellar Blade given the AAA video game audience has shifted away from consoles to PCs.

There might be more than one collaboration as well. However, The company’s CEO Hyung-Tae Kim all but confirmed that at least one of the collaborations would be with Goddess of Victory: NIKKE.

Furthermore, Kim shared that the company is exploring a number of potential opportunities for synergy between the two games. Any kind of collaboration that happens within Stellar Blade will likely be paid DLC rather than a free rollout.

The game’s Technical Director Lee Dong Gi also detailed that there might be improvements and additions to fishing and can collecting in the future.

When asked about what impressed him from players following the game’s release, he said, “I was very happy to see people enjoying fishing and collecting cans, filling up their databanks and thinking about the worldview. At the same time, I began to think that I would like to continue to enrich these elements in the future.”

As far as the possibility of a sequel, Kim confirmed that Shift Up is exploring options. He stated, “We are considering various plans for the possibility of producing a sequel. For example, it could be something that complements the story and worldview of this work, or it could be a completely different work.”

“We will decide based on what we want to deliver and what we want to depict while watching everyone’s reaction to this work,” he concluded.
