Marvel Animation’s X-Men ’97 continues to struggle to make an impact on Nielsen’s streaming viewership charts, with the Disney+ series now failing to crack the Top 10 Originals rankings for a second consecutive week. The latest Nielsen Streaming Content Ratings cover...
In a recent interview, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige pushed back against critics accusing the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) of embracing a “woke” agenda, particularly in its emphasis on diversity and female-led narratives following Avengers: Endgame. Feige’s comments come at a time when the franchise has faced declining box office returns, with several high-profile projects underperforming despite heavy promotion of inclusive storytelling.
Marvel’s Ironheart crawled to its merciful end on July 1, 2025, delivering a finale riddled with hypocrisy where Riri Williams clearly appears to strike a deal with Mephisto to bring back her friend Natalie. But now series star Dominique Thorne is hitting the interview circuit peddling ambiguity around the show’s unpopular final moments like it’s a get-out-of-jail-free card.
In Marvel’s latest attempt to salvage interest in Ironheart, the long-delayed Disney+ series centered on Riri Williams, the studio has rolled out the nuclear option: Robert Downey Jr yet again. In his latest promotional sit-down with Dominique Thorne — the actress behind the titular character — RDJ is on-hand to give his take on the first three episodes of Ironheart while acting as an emotional bridge between Tony Stark and Riri Williams.
According to longtime YouTuber and pop culture commentator Nerdrotic, Marvel insiders are calling Ironheart “the worst thing they have ever made”—and the evidence backing that claim keeps piling up.
If you thought the first three episodes of Ironheart were bad, buckle up. Somehow, Marvel managed to dig even deeper into the well of awful. The final three episodes of Ironheart don’t just continue the disaster—they accelerate it, hurling the show off a cliff of lazy writing, nonsensical tech, virtue signaling, and a complete disregard for logic or consequence.
After weeks of the media insisting Ironheart was being unfairly “review bombed,” the numbers are now in — and they’re even worse than expected. According to Luminate’s official streaming ratings for June 20–26, the three-episode premiere of Ironheart failed to chart entirely. That’s right — Marvel’s newest Disney+ series didn’t even crack the top 10 for original streaming programs during its debut week.
After a flurry of early headlines accusing critics of “review bombing,” Ironheart has now entered a very different phase of audience reactions.
Another Marvel series, another media meltdown. This time, it’s Ironheart caught in the crosshairs of what outlets like Screen Rant are calling a “review bombing campaign.” But is that really what’s happening, or is the term just another convenient shield every time audiences reject a Disney-backed product?
There really isn’t a way to review Ironheart outside of just calling it what it is: bad.
It’s a bad show. It’s bad on every level. From the lazy bad cinematography to the lackluster bad graphics, bad wooden performances, and bad writing, Ironheart is the culmination of everything that’s gone wrong with Marvel television. It’s not just a misfire—it’s a final nail.
Former X-Men ’97 showrunner Beau DeMayo has once again pulled back the curtain on the chaos inside Marvel Studios — and this time, he’s outlining sweeping story changes that were cut from X-Men 97 Season 2 after his abrupt exit. In a series of detailed posts on X,...
In what may go down as one of the most transparently scripted PR stunts in recent Marvel history, Iron Man star Robert Downey Jr. appeared on Good Morning America to deliver a glowing endorsement of Disney’s upcoming Ironheart series.
Ironheart hasn’t even premiered on Disney+ yet, but questions are already swirling about the show’s future. According to star Dominique Thorne, Ironheart Season 2 has not been greenlit, and it remains unclear whether the series will continue at all.
