RUMOR: Ant-Man Character May Die Offscreen Before Avengers: Doomsday

Even with the massive cast assembled for Avengers: Doomsday, it was inevitable that not every major character would return. Last March, during Marvel’s live cast reveal stream, several notable names were missing. Among those not mentioned was Evangeline Lilly, who played Hope van Dyne/Wasp in the three Ant-Man films. According to the X account The Beyond Reporter, her character will die offscreen.

Tom Cruise Reportedly Filmed a Lightsaber Fight for Star Wars Starfighter Movie

Tom Cruise was recently involved with Star Wars: Starfighter, and confirmed some strong suspicions in the process.

When Star Wars: Starfighter was first announced, one of the biggest questions surrounding the film was how deeply it would lean into traditional Star Wars iconography. For months, Lucasfilm and director Shawn Levy positioned the project as something of a tonal departure—new characters, new conflicts, and a setting five years removed from The Rise of Skywalker.

Now, thanks to an unexpected cameo behind the camera from Tom Cruise, that positioning may already be unraveling.

One of the most recognizable names in preschool entertainment is jumping platforms—but not because it’s still on top. The move to Disney+ will take effect in January 2027, just months before the scheduled release of a Universal-backed CoComelon movie.

Unions, Guilds, Contracts, AI, And Things That Go SAG/AFTRA In The Night, By LW Ghost

We’ve seen a lot of talk about AI and the effect it will have on entertainment in general and actors in particular. We hear about, for just one of many examples, James Earl Jones and his family making the deal to AI his voice resulting in some more-than-interesting stuff going on in Fortnite if you ask the right (or is it wrong?) questions. And we’ve seen the SAG/AFTRA (Screen Actors Guild/American Federation of Television and Radio Actors as they once were and merged) efforts to enforce their contracts get represented as affecting those bigshot players and their deals.

Security Breach on Avengers: Doomsday Set, Fan Posts Viral TikTok Video Footage

Video footage from the Avengers Doomsday set made the rounds online this week after a fan snuck into the supposedly secure filming location.

Earlier this month, the Marvel Universe suffered its worst security breach in recent memory.  A man under the TikTok handle @TheyNeverSawItComing pulled his very own “Mission Impossible” and was able to breach the mighty Marvel machine by sneaking onto the set of Avengers: Doomsday at Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire, England.

He then uploaded all of the unauthorized Avengers: Doomdday set video footage on TikTok, as one does.

Neil Druckmann Says He’s Ignoring Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet Backlash and Staying The Course

Neil Druckmann doesn’t seem interested in your opinion—and he’s not hiding it—particularly when it comes to backlash against Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet.

As creative director at Naughty Dog, Druckmann has long styled himself as a bold auteur, willing to take creative risks regardless of how they’re received. But his latest remarks about Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, Naughty Dog’s next original IP, are drawing fresh scrutiny and fueling an ongoing narrative: that Druckmann has little regard for fan input and plans to continue pushing his personal vision no matter the fallout.

After years of unfiltered biased politics and endless commentary bashing Republicans, the ladies of The View may be facing a mandate to rein it in. According to a new report from The Daily Beast, executives at Disney and ABC News—including CEO Bob Iger and ABC News President Almin Karamehmedovic—have reportedly met with the show’s co-hosts and executive producer Brian Teta to urge a shift away from constant political talk, especially the relentless bashing of President Donald Trump.
