Disney World Dining Reservations No Longer Functioning Inside the App as “Beak & Barrel” Magic Kingdom Bar Woes Continue

Beak and Barrel Magic Kingdom Pirate Tavern Starts Taking Reservations This Week — Opens the Door to Alcohol and Epcot-Style Drinking Culture

Alcohol is coming to the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World in the most accessible way yet through the Beak and Barrel.

On August 29th, Disney will officially break a barrier that’s stood since Magic Kingdom’s opening day. The park’s first-ever standalone tavern, The Beak and Barrel, opens in Adventureland, just steps away from Pirates of the Caribbean. Advance reservations for the new location launch August 20th at 7:00 p.m. ET, and judging by the buzz, this pirate pub is expected to fill fast.

Magic Kingdom Removes Iconic Adventureland Sign – Refurbishment Or Another Modern Update?

Magic Kingdom Removes Iconic Adventureland Sign – Refurbishment Or Another Modern Update?

Disney has removed the iconic Adventureland sign in Magic Kingdom. Is this just a refurbishment or have “modern sensibilities” struck again?

Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World is changing—dramatically. Big Thunder Mountain remains under refurbishment, construction walls are up around Pirates of the Caribbean and Frontierland, and the only remaining nod to America’s frontier history seems to be the Country Bears, which now highlights modern Disney songs. The Rivers of America is nearly drained, leading some to wonder if current Disney leadership has little reverence for America’s frontier-era history.
